J. S. Roberts has been chasing stories since fourth grade, when she turned a one-paragraph school assignment into three typed pages on her family’s Apple IIc. Since then, her creativity has spilled into poetry, journaling, songwriting, and now novel writing. Today, she focuses on crafting romance and fantasy stories that explore love, resilience, and belonging.

By day, she works in higher education, advising student leaders and coordinating campus events. Her work continually reminds her how people grow, connect, and create meaning in their lives. By night, she’s usually writing, reading, or diving into creative hobbies. She enjoys open-water swimming, designing pop culture dishcloth patterns, and turning her journals into works of art.

She lives in South Carolina with her husband, a fellow creative.
